The Wine List

Wine glass

It isn’t a secret that I like to indulge in a glass or 10 of wine. I always end up standing in a store, staring at the wine selection, trying to remember what the hell I have had already and what I haven’t. I will dump a bottle of wine that I don’t like down the drain. (Much to my Husband’s dismay)

To fix this solution I have decided to keep track of my favorites and share them with you. (That is what a good wine friend would do. I’m not saying I’m sharing the bottle, just the name, go buy your own damn bottle.) I will tell you I don’t care if it is a $2 bottle or a $300 bottle, it just matters that I like it. I favor Chardonnay’s in the summer and Merlot’s and Cab’s in the winter. Don’t give me your suggestion for a sweet wine or I will smack you.

With that being said, don’t judge my selections, I live in the middle of no where and our selection is reduced to Trader Joe’s and the one aisle at the local Ma & Pa grocery store. Also, my husband won’t let me spend big bucks on my habit. I know, I love him despite it.

  • Cupcake, Chardonnay
  • Trader Joe’s Coastal, Syrah
  • Estancia, Chardonnay
  • La Crema, Chardonnay
  • Clus du Bois, Chardonnay
  • Chateau Ste Michelle, Cabernet

If you have any available in the Midwest, you should try some South African wines. We’re a wine country and mmm, they are delicious. But then I could be bias! haha!
